Ratty the Jack Russell is a creature of habit. Twice a week he would trot out alone through the farm gates, jump on a number ten bus and head for his local, the Black Bull.
This smart dog has his own water dish at the pub in York, where sausages are served. How does he go back home? Either he gets a lift home form a friendly barmaid or the owner will come and get him.
However, since Black Bull was taken over, animals were banned. Ratty has no choice but to break his habit. Soon he found an alternative - riding the school bus with kids!
