Keeping hamster is not that tough, but to make you hamster happy is not so easy too! Well, here are some tips...- Increase your hamster's living space, bigger cage or aquarium will give them more room to play.
- More toys, either wooden rodent toys that brought from pet shop or home-made toys like empty toilet roll and paper towel. Make sure no soft plastic.
- Provide a good exercise wheel such as Wodent Wheel, hamster can run for miles in one night.
- Let your hamster explores your place without getting hurt or lost in a hamster ball. However, it is arguable that whether hamsters actually enjoy it.
- Hamsters like sand bathe. Just pace some chinchilla bathing sand in a container and your hamster will roll in it happily.
- Play with your hamster everyday, but only when the hamster is not sleepy. Early morning and evening are their active time. Social interaction can make your hamster really tame.

ReplyDeletehey. is is it okay if i use white beach sand? cause i got some from a friend who lives near a beach.. then i agve it to them in a slightly bigger dish.. but not in their cage cause they always get the sand into the cage floor and its really annoying to clean up. so every playtime.. i put the sand dish on their playpen which i personaly made..anyways.. i dont see any harm done by the beach sand.. do you think its fine if continue this??

if you put toilet paper in the cage it will make a nest or a bed to sleep in. mine absolutly loves it
